Cannondale Jekyll 4

Towards late fall I began to do quite a bit of mountain biking with my 21 year old nephew Ethan. Everything was going great until his borrowed mountain bike broke. This was a bummer for the two of us. He could not afford a bike and I really was enjoying the time we were spending together. It’s quite motivating to ride with someone less than half your age. Anyhow I decided I needed to have a second mountain bike on hand as a spare as well as a guest bike. I began looking at used offerings but I was not impressed with what I was finding. Then one day I took the fateful step of sending Greg at Class Cycles in Southbury CT an email about a few general items but I also ended my email with a question.  You see I know this is the time of year to buy left over models at great prices. Greg was quick to respond with great pricing on a 2013 Cannondale Jekyll 4 and a 2013 Cannondale Scalpel 3. Both bikes were priced within $150 and that made the choice somewhat difficult. The reality of the choice though is the Cannondale Jekyll 4 is more suited to the type of riding I do here in CT. A week before Christmas I placed a deposit on the bike. Hopefully I will pick the bike up in the next week or two.
